Multiple New Game + Save Files

I don't know where the best place to put this is and I know it'll probably never be seen by a dev, but I just want to put it out there

Could new game+ get multiple save files?

I'm completely caught up with msq, but I have some friends who only recently got into the game. They're in Heavensward now but during post-ARR, it got a little awkward with ng+ only having one save. Namely, when they got to the part where Crystal Tower is pointed out to them, they immediately wanted to do it. However since there aren't multiple saves for ng+, if we did do it then, I would have had to delete my post ARR to do CT, and then COMPLETELY REDO all of post-ARR we had done up to that point. So we instead had to wait until after part 5 of ARR ng+ ended so that I could start up a CT one without losing anything.

I know an alternative would be something I've seen other people suggest and let ng+ be more specific in where you start, but I feel like multiple saves might be easier, or at least more intuitive because everyone I've spoken too is SURPRISED that you can't have multiple ng+ saves. And I think that's because the UI itself looks like you could. I mean, when you're on the suspend page, it totally looks like you could have a list of saves.

Multiple saves files would make playing with my sprout friends so much easier, especially when they eventually get to post-ShB (Eden raids in particular having multiple msq blocks) and post-EW (where again, I believe the alliance raids become available mid-patch).

I just want new game+ to have a level synch feature where you can run around the world at a fairly normal level.

Instances sync you down to the level of the duty, what stops you from running around with them and joining on the queue?

Because I'm running the story WITH them? Not just the instances? It's nice seeing the story again since I've only done it the once.
If multiple save files never become a thing (which is what'll probably happen) by the time they get to the Eden raids, that's probably what I'm going to do since all the msq blocks would make it a hassle with ng+, but I want to be able to experience the story again WITH them.

Now that you say it. Imagine you could just share your save file with someone and continue together exactly from that point.

I really wish we had this too. Mainly because I want to go through post-Shadowbringers and the Eden quests in NG+ concurrently - since their timelines mesh together in a pretty important way. It would help if the raid NG+ were broken up into their individual patch parts, instead of just one long story.

It really irked me during ShB NG+ that I couldn't pause to go do one of the role quests in NG+ as well. Since they're linked with the ShB story it doesn't make sense that you can't do them at the same time.

I, for one, would LOVE to have multiple saves. If only just because sometimes I get bored to a point in one story line and want to read/play some other quest. Y'know, real adhd-brain type nonsense.

Would help soo much if I could have at least one other bookmark spot.

Yes exactly! Even having just one more slot would be so helpful.
