Current Ultimog Challenge

From what I can tell the Ultimog challenge of this current treasure trove has to do with Heaven on High. I don't have this unlocked and I'm not entirely sure if I even can unlock it. I've been playing Palace of the Dead but have been stopped by some hydra boss in the 21-30 range and trying to match with other players doesn't seem to find quite literally anyone at all. I'm also not keen on swapping job and doing it all over again. Any advice on how to reach floor 50?

I reached floor 50 solo by first running with a random party to build up my Aetherpool. Then I did the 20 to 50 solo as White Mage and it was pretty easy, just a bit time consuming.

The last time I checked, you need to clear level 50 of PotD before you can even enter HoH. Which means you have to get to level 50 twice...
Personally I ignored that challenge and did 7 Praetorium instead (which gives around the same number of tomes).

Some time ago, I bookmarked this guide to Palace of the Dead. It also has a link to a similar guide for Heaven on High.

Don't try to take on too many enemies at once, keep your pomanders at the ready in case you get screwed over by an invisible trap.

For Bosses, mostly just need to learn their mechanics, which for the most part shouldn't one shot you and you definitely want to make sure you've got an active Pomander of Steel and Strength on you.

Also the Job you're doing it as matters, Warrior is a good choice for surviving most things in Solo Deep Dungeons.

Best advice? Find a fixed group of experienced players with some aetherpool who will speedrun PotD 1-50 with you. That's the fastest way. Otherwise you might be stuck in queue limbo for a long time. The bright side is that once done you can access HoH and Eureka Orthos and probably also the upcoming deep dungeon.

You can easily solo this to level 50, just take Pictomancer and you can one or two shot every enemy in there, if you are new to deep dungeons you might still die to some bad rng with traps, but it is not difficult to do, might take a few hours though.
