A lot of the folks I play with use console, so it may be with some bias that I say it, but I don't feel like splitting the community to that degree is the best option. Perhaps, as which happens with older PCs, as time goes on the outdated consoles might get left behind, but I wouldn't want to see them dropped or split-off entirely. If/when PS4 support does end, I hope they'll offer those players an update option to PS5 rather than having to re-buy the whole game they already own.
I hear what you're saying about content being simplified, and I don't think 'accessibility' is the real reason unfortunately. Actual attempts to address accessibility issues have been steadily ignored, even though we've followed the directions we were given for how to report the problems. Content and classes being simplified? Yeah, for sure. Is it out of a concern for accessibility? At this point I seriously doubt it.

Yes yoshi p helped PS5 gamers with free update of final fantasy 14 game. If you have the game on ps4 you have same game on ps5.
