Black knighting on the forums

Pretty sure I heard "quit the game" wayyyy more from the white knight than the other guy. Isn't that all you guys said all the time?

People used to leave constructive criticism, but there's only so much they can take being ignored by the devs before they don't bother with it anymore.

I'm sure the names of these said comparisons escape you.

Oh no, people that defend the game tell people discontent to quit all the time. I had one of those today. I would pull it up but the forum seems to be having issues. Again.

Telling someone to not spend money on something they don't enjoy is just sensible advice; it doesn't make someone a white knight and I have no idea why people are so attached to complaining for months (some of you years) and giving SE money to do so.

When I felt extreme boredom and distaste for StormBlood, I just logged out and unsubbed, and didn't return for 2 years. I didn't pay $400 to have forum access and complain the entire expansion.

This is why I view the forums as a trap the same way I view housing
Without a subscription, you eventually lose access to posting here, a place where, if you're disgruntled / have feedback, they redirect you here to post about it with the expectation of being heard

but with some of the changes being made it makes me wonder who they are talking to / getting their feedback from
