How to make moogle events great.


1. Rotate the duties for tomes weekly.
2."irregular" tomestones optimized and never expire and become a normal currency.

3. The moogle becomes like the trading post in wow. A rotating inventory of items you can purchase anytime. Tomes won't expire you can save them for the future inventory rotation and grind them when the event is up to create a surplus if you want.

I do like the idea of it staying as an event with an inventory that rotates
It would help players get some of the rewards from past moogle events they've missed

The big thing I think they should address is making the duties scale to an individual's MSQ
That way if they don't have a duty unlocked, they can still do the side quest and unlock it rather than it being well beyond their means

I just want more loot, Everything on that list i already owned on one character or another, And the fabled Inferno jacket looks like poop. The earring is only noticable on Female characters most male hairstyles just outright cover it unless you're a viera or Miqo.

I'm just stockpiling maps cause everything is just straight up garbo. . And the one unique mount looks like trash so no need to farm that either aside from "M-Muh Fomo!" I'd rather run my capybara than ever summon that trash mount.

They should definitely just make a permanent Moogle Treasure Trove. Just have all the previous expansions dungeons on it, and with them you can buy armor from the past expansions high level dungeons, which aren't a guaranteed drop unlike leveling dungeons.

Maybe some regular treasure maps as well, not the ones with a guaranteed portal.

Yes, and this is easily fixable, like putting a purchase cap on it, cycling the rewards out so that MGP card isn't permanent, or by introducing a different certificate with lower MGP reward, or a much greater tome cost, or just deal directly with the rewards from Gold Saucer, (e.g., 600 tomes for the Fenrir).

Having this event more permanent with cycling rewards is much better than a limited time event, and definitely isn't worth precluding as a permanent event just cuz MGP will be busted (Which again, easy fixes)

TBH the Moogle tome anniversary event was the best one, and all the following events were below average but I support a universal moogle tome token too.

So far I have all the items I wanted but I still have like 80 leftover, so I'll get the earring, even though it's not that great an earring.

I would not mind if the Moogle Tomes stayed indefinitely in a rotation, and the new ones just come out in their appropriate patch cycle; this would also completely revive Rival Wings too which is becoming a lost PVP mode.

Also people once they get everything players will likely farm out some MGP vouchers; as it currently stands with MGP right now its very boring to grind out for.

The only time I think mogtome made any improvement at all was the addition of mogpendium and how they draw more activity to Rival Wings.

Everything else are mid at best IMHO.
