I think if it was up all the time it would lose its appeal. The big draw now is because it's limited. So it's an event to look forward to when leading up to a patch. Plus as others mentioned, they would have to either remove the MGP cards or greatly limit them. And they will probably recycle a lot of rewards if they were regularly cycling them out the entire year.

It's a decent event now to get some items in an alternate way for a short time. I feel like permanent might ruin the fun of it.

They can always just recycle the FFXV and FF16 events again I'm sure more players would like cars, Torgal, and more clothing sets than old items from StB.

Sometimes I think having a small part of the reward list and the mogtome remaining permanent would be nice. Give it to the lesser popping duties like the optional trials and alliance raids from StB and ShB.

I thought they were great when I needed MGP and had done no content at all, but that was probably only the first or second treasure troves they did.
Nowadays I have pretty much the vast majority of items they list on there, so I don't feel the need to even participate.

I do like the idea of it staying as an event with an inventory that rotates
It would help players get some of the rewards from past moogle events they've missed

The big thing I think they should address is making the duties scale to an individual's MSQ
That way if they don't have a duty unlocked, they can still do the side quest and unlock it rather than it being well beyond their means

can't unlock it if you're not even there yet at all, like my Ulti Mog now is in DT and i haven't even friggin started Post EW (taking a long break kinda)

We never saw the FFXIII event again because they put that stuff onto the cash shop. Never added more weapons from that set as a result.

My only request is that we don't have new tomestones each round. Just use one standard mogtome to spend each cycle, much like how poetics became the tomes for all old expansion gear.
