As someone who pretty regularly makes <se.#> calls in large-scale PvP, I strongly agree with this thread. I too get irritated when they're excessively used, because it just causes people to tune out shotcalls, and builds negative sentiment towards other commanders that don't abuse the system. I'd go a bit further too:

- It should not be possible to layer multiple sound effects in one line/call, especially multiple of the same sound effect.
- If someone is muted/blacklisted, you should NOT hear their sound effects. (Didn't the old system work this way? Yet another failure of the DT blacklist.)
