While I wish Blizz & WoW luck in their endeavours, the success of highly social-related features like Housing is, unfortunately, dependent on the quality of the Player Community - which is Excessively toxic, to say the least. When Housing eventually comes out, I am sure it will be the coolest thing on this planet. But will it last? That I will certainly not bet on it.
I assure you it's just as grindy as before if not more. WoW is ALL about the Grind. In TWW, the Increased Crest Requirements for Gear Upgrades, Higher Mythic+ Dungeon Requirements and Limited Renown Progressions are the first few that come to mind. And when it comes to PvP (where I spent most of my time in), the Conquest (and Honor) Point grinds are LONG and Hard, especially when the space is completely overrun by Premade groups running all day and night, your chance of making any progress there is less than 5% - Painfully slow. Here is a clip of our group (a Premade) completely overwhelm the Horde opponent. Now, imagine the winning chance of players on their side, and this is what players had to put up now, all day.
