This was actually quite a bit of fun. It's hilarious watching the entire camp get stomped (us included), but eventually my party and I managed to kill one of the ghosts.
From when I did this last night, I seem to have a feeling they are true sight/sound aggro once they have been aggro'd away from their spawn point.
Only reason I think this is when I was at the Crystal without moving I had 0 aggro on anything, after people started aggro-ing them and pulling them all over I died and HP-d back to the Aetheryte where for a few secs no aggro but as the unclaimed started slowly moving back they looked at me and boom dead! lol
Could be way off with the aggro but thats what happened to me if that helps anyone out![]()



You need to be in Walk Mode to not aggro sound mobs - Merely standing still does nothing because they can still 'hear' you. Also I figured Skeletons and 'fallen' mobs were sight aggro since they do still aggro sometimes even when you're walking.



That, or they could also have 'death aggro' A couple mobs in FFXI had it, and while it's been years, weren't undead some of those mobs? Gnats were the mobs that were attracted to dead bodies -- Most undead aggroed yellow and lower HP and Cursed (fomors) aggroed Weaponskill, Sound, Low HP (in certain areas) and Job Ability usage.

battle mode (when battle music started) void your safe thing to sound aggro. That is true for any mobs not just these special ones.
not sure it's including if any of your party member in the battle mode, which is aggro another mob.
