Suggestion: Dynamic Interior for Housing

I would like to see FFXIV update the housing system. Yes, there needs to be more wards, but this isn't for that.

Regardless of size, add options to the housing to make them more dynamic and different. It could be a great gil sink.

Allow the user to move the stairs, the interior walls, etc for a gil amount. If you want to add another lower floor or upper floor? Make it cost gil. Add a working balcony? Make it cost gil. Increase item limit? Cost gil.

Let us design some unique houses where the only limit is our imaginations.

If I may tack onto this...

I would also dearly love to see them give us interiors that match the various housing skins. I love my country cottage, but there are so many things I can see on the outside that aren't reflected on the inside, and I would love to see the inside match the outside. Sure, it might be harder to decorate than the cookie-cutter layout, but figuring out how to handle that would be a fun challenge.

Equally, I would like to see them implement some kind of floor plans we can upgrade our apartments to. Let me upgrade my studio to 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms, add a balcony, choose a layout... something!

I agree with that. Interiors matching the exteriors of the house should have been a thing earlier too. Makes no sense to have a Ishgardian house exterior with a Shirogane interior. Now the system is going the right way because we can change it between 6 possible choice (All 5 Housing area + 1 original). They need to update that as well in the future for us to have new interiors. Those should be unlocked when you unlocked the exteriors in the crafting hall of your company. Also, we need a version of the 5 base interior to be without those huge pillars allowing us to work even better.

Besides that, we have certain house who have a side missing, like the forge's one or the cafe (Even the oriental one with the outside bath, can't remember the name). So the interior shape should match that to add realism.

Honestly - just let us buy additional rooms at a increasing Exponential Cost. I don't want to have my bathroom in my main lobby and half the time the partitions either clash or are jerked around by the interior. If I want to blow 100m on adding 8 rooms so I can have a private bedroom and bathroom in my mansion..let me and that way I can use that sparse 400 items on something else.

Honestly - just let us buy additional rooms at a increasing Exponential Cost. I don't want to have my bathroom in my main lobby and half the time the partitions either clash or are jerked around by the interior. If I want to blow 100m on adding 8 rooms so I can have a private bedroom and bathroom in my mansion..let me and that way I can use that sparse 400 items on something else.

I really want this option too!
