Honestly I don't know why people use the block letters, it just makes the advertisement more obnoxious to read

Outside of that though, it's also frustrating how restrictive the term filter is because you could easily put "DJ" there, but it has to be three letters minimum from what I recall

These advertisements used block letters way before the term filter existed
You can argue it got worse, sure, and likely many are using it to bypass the filter
but venues have always used them in their advertising - in shouts and in party finder
either way it's obnoxious

The filter should not be case sensitive. But this example looks like it was intentionally constructed to bypass the term filter. The devs could update it to treat block letters as their ascii version and still some people would find a way around it.
