First we had wrong Thancred, then it was screenshots that weren't suppose to be shared and later removed, now the two new housing cash shop items have their descriptions reversed.

While it’s not serious, it is another thing in a line of things they messed up that should’ve easily been caught.

Quality assurance kind of assumes that their goal is quality in the first place.

I don't think the Quality Assurance in Japan have anything to do with:
- English shop description.
- Checking screenshots that are shared.

These are basic things the person writing it are normally going to catch. But realistically, they copy+paste stuff just like we would. I've caught evidence of them copy+pasting old patch notes and forgetting to change it, for example. Probably if any of us did that for 10 years we'd eventually forget to change a tomestone name or something.

Actually, as someone who works QA for a living, I can assure you copytext QA is a form of QA that exists. So yeah, this falls on the QA team's fault, just not the QAs that verify bugs in the actual game.

Perhaps but it speaks to a lack of attention to detail within CB3's various branches as a whole that were not seriously present during EW and before. It's another footnote in CB3's downward trend as of late.

I do remember something similar happening to SGE and SCH on patch notes a few times now.

But realistically it's not a big deal, they used character art from ARR for a new promo, but didn't notice their reference was when that character was in his emo phase (the only clue being a necklace).
