Game doesn't recognize mouse buttons 4 and 5 long press

So I have two modifier keys (Command and Alt) binded to my Logitech G203 mouse's buttons 4 and 5 to access my second hotbar. So far, they've worked just fine.

They suddenly stopped working today, but not entirely: when I press mouse4/mouse5, hold it, and then press my hotbar keys, like one usually does, it ignores the modifier. BUT if I *perfectly* synchronize the click and the key pressing, it works, so it's as if it isn't recognizing the long press click, rather than the button itself. It's still unusable because it's such a small time frame to get both key and button pressed.

It is not a hardware issue since long press works on other apps. I updated G Hub recently so I'm not sure if this is a drivers problem (the app controls them), but again, they work as intended everywhere but in this game. I'm on Mac (Sequoia 15.3.1).

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We are sorry to hear that you seem to be having issues with your mouse. We would like to recommend some troubleshooting solutions that may resolve this issue:

    - You may want to try plugging the mouse into different ports (both front and back) to see if one of them recognizes the controller and allows you to use it within the game.
    - Uninstall and reinstall G-HUB. If the update broke the functionalities, we recommend installing the previous G-HUB version.
    - Disable all other device drivers, keyboard, and your mouse as the only devices active.
    - If you have a specialized gaming mouse you may want to try using a different mouse to be sure there are no conflicts with that device.
    - Try unplugging all other devices and only plugging in the mouse and keyboard.
    - Try updating to the latest macOS Sequoia 15.3.2.

We hope that this information resolves the error you are experiencing. If the error continues to persist after following the aforementioned troubleshooting solutions, please reply with any other steps you may have taken to resolve the issues, so the team may properly assess how to assist you further. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums and hope to see you online!
