We got our first cash shop exclusive outdoor furniture

As the title says. We got 2 new outdoor furniture pieces that are cash shop exclusive and were not previously obtainable in-game for free. All other items in the same category available in the shop have a line: This item, or one otherwise equivalent, was available during a past in-game event. These new ones don't have it.

I thought I was smoking when I saw outdoor furnitures that I thought would eventually get added to places like bicolor vendors or in upcoming cosmic exploration, because I do feel like wanting a cacti or two on my own lawn ever since seeing a lot of them in Shaaloani (and I think it rhymes considering we're also going thru Dawntrail as well).

Shareholders' wallets are that hungry, I guess. They could've been a reason for me to hitting up FATEs again if they were put into bicolors yanno? Or any other existing content?

Though I suppose they could have just instead thrown some solution-9 assets on there, people would probably throw more money at that and defend the practice.

I thought I was going crazy when I saw that and thought to myself, "I don't remember ever seeing those before". But then, I didn't see anyone complaining about it on reddit like they always do the moment anything hits the FFXIV Store. Cash Shop exclusive housing items just. . .just based on how housing items work is extremely predatory.

rebirth is getting some increase since the pc launch but yes and no. If they would put in the effort in the game instead of this stupid shop more people would resub. A sub costs 3 times of this furnitures so it doesnt make sense at all. sadly one more sign in which direction this game is heading.
