I see where you're coming from, OP, but this slides through the ToS because it falls under "community building." There’s no rule outright banning the use of "18+," and there likely never will be—after all, even statics use that label. Unless it’s classified as discrimination, it’s here to stay. As for NSFW, it doesn’t automatically mean nudity or sex, which is precisely why it continues to slip through the cracks. Not all forms of NSFW are ToS violating. Even if SE did ban those specific terms, those posters would find other words to circumvent the rules.
