really shouldn't regardless of where you stand there should be alternative methods to it them just saying here do it on twitter and thats it is wrong rather you like twitter or not you should accept that fact, they should atleast do it on 2 other platforms as well

No, they should do such as OP suggested. Stop with the third party nonsense and hosts these events themselves, they have the resources to do so, and they did so in the past.
There is no benefit for us consumers to have to use any form of third party service to participate in these contests. It's only the company that benefits from this system.
