    Competitions on X :(

    I'd love to participate in some of the community photo events, like the current one for instax, and try for some prizes.. but.. why do we have to use a 3rd party website like X to submit entries? Would love to have the option to submit on the forums, not through a company I don't want to use, and isn't affiliated with Square in any way!

    I feel that way most of the time because they also do it with Twitch and with companies I'm either not going to buy from, or can't buy from due to it being a different country.

    It's because they want the players to advertise the game.

    But I can't really imagine a camera emote to be what convinces people to start playing FF XIV.

    We don't have to. I'm certainly not. I mean, it'd be nice to be able to participate but am going to sit this out under the circumstances.
