    Welcome home indeed... :D

    Hello everyone! I just wanted to tell you all that I'm having an absolute blast playing FFXIV! Being a huge Final Fantasy fan in general I tried to force myself to like the game at launch, and I couldn't. Flash forward two years and all my friends have long since left their accounts barren and I'm playing the game alone. But you know what? I'm loving it! The changes are awesome, and I can really see how far they have come!

    I'm on the prowl for a LS, though less for game content and more for the social aspect It's nice to have the chatter to keep you company while you grind mobs!

    Not particularly, I would actually say that the FFXIV forums are significantly more optimistic than most MMO official forums. there is just something soul sucking about seeing the same topics come up over and over again while we wait with baited breath for each new set of content. You'll be fine, probably, since you have plenty to look forward too.

    Without the forums and complainers, this game would still have only guildleves, or no longer be avaliable.

    We could have all just quit like mango and his friends at the beginning, but instead the strong few stayed behind to voice their views, concerns and complaints about the game, and now we have the FFXIV of today.

    So, its a good think SE doesn't ignore complainers.
