A question for other servers

I'm presently on Gungnir. I'm at a point where I'm getting frustrated and am thinking a server change may be in order. I've been in two LS's since launch and now both are graveyards. All of the active linkshells that post on the official forums here are maxed. So here I am shouting for hours trying to get together a party to proceed the storyline. But now I'm on Garuda and I don't think a pick up party will work to well for it, let alone Nael van Darnus.

So any suggestions for more active servers? Or possibly even a more active MMO? I think I'm gonna pick up Diablo III to burn some time toward 2.0 and a hopeful influx of players but am thinking a move may be in order.

Pick up party will work fine for easymode Garuda, but true Darnus is very difficult. But also....yeah you can't change servers right now, you know?

But if they allow server changes come 2.0 and don't totally change the servers, well, Sargatanas isn't bad. Even pick up parties here aren't too bad. But graveyard-LS is a trend on every server I think.

Balmung is cool if you like RPers, trolls, and sexual harassment.
As for content help, whenever something new comes out most people burn out on the first few days so-
finding help this late is a bit tough. Especially with something as intimidating as Garuda haha.
I suggest you make parties yourself. Make friends through leveling up, just saying hi to people in town. And, with time, you'll have your own core static of people your trust! No need to switch servers(even though that's not possible) when I'm sure there's plenty of cool cats on yours.

Sorry, but I have to echo Rukira's feelings here. Stay far, far away from Balmung. Deleting my character on Fabul and rerolling on Gungnir (then Mysidia) was the best decision I ever made with this game. Feel bad for the people on Besaid who got merged with them.

I've heard them say they were going to allow transfers at 2.0 launch, so if you still feel that's necessary then you'll have the chance then. Other than that, just try and shout around I'd guess. I'd offer an invitation to my shell but we just maxed out, so...yeah.

I did not realize that there were good and bad servers. I'm on Hyperion and it seems like everyone is really nice and friendly. I haven't had a single conflict with any player. I'm sure every server has its share of face-rolled gil sellers chilling in Limsa. Cedarwood lags on me hardcore with them.

We also seem to have a nice balance of EU and JP players. If you do end up coming to Hyperion look me up and I'll invite you to my social shell.
