The game needs to make learning jobs easier

So I generally consider myself to be an alright Dancer player, mostly because I spent hours at a time practicing my rotation and learning the flow of combat, both at a striking dummy and in live scenarios.

However, I believe that the game currently lacks a reliable way to practice openers, which are often critically important to the performance of a job, especially in high-end content.

Whilst striking dummies have been useful in the past and still are to some extent, with how busy many jobs are these days, if you mess up a skill placement and want to redo your opener, you can often end up waiting up to 2 minutes per attempt for several cooldowns to reset, which seems to be impractical and tedious for the player trying to learn the job in question.

I would like to propose an option for striking dummies to reset existing skill cooldowns on request, so that players looking to practice a job can do so at their leisure, and hopefully improve their own personal performance with enough effort.

Stone, Sky, Sea? You can walk out of the arena and return to the npc and restart. Resets your cooldowns and gauges too.

Leave arena, talk to NPC, get teleported, talk to the NPC again, select the requisite fight, get teleported again, start again. Even with an SSD, that's up to a minute for every try, and requires more active effort than just tabbing out to watch a video and waiting out the cooldowns. I'm asking for a command that's as quick as resetting enmity on a striking dummy, so I don't need to teleport OR tab out to wait.

Stone, Sky, Sea's useful for older Ultimates and specifically trying to see if you're good enough to clear a Savage fight, not so much the very beginnings of learning a job's overall flow.

Select unsync, join a unsync dungeon, leave

10s work and everything is resetted, if you set it up the first time you only have to open duty finder join and leave so its even faster then the first time.

there is no need for something extra if you can solve it this way

If memory serves me correctly, there's actually a limit on how many instances a player can enter/do per daily reset. It's set high enough to only really get in the way if you're farming a specific relic or repeatedly entering/leaving instances deliberately, which would be the case if you were using this method to reset your cooldowns.

I think the jobs have a decent balance pool of hard to easy job. Only class they need to fix are healer gameplay. Because it only class is suffer of gameplay crisis.

I would not call that a solution. Its just abusing how dungeons reset cooldowns when you enter them. There's also a limit on how many dungeons you can do a day.

There is no reason why we still do not have a reset cooldowns button or NPC in Stone, Sky, Sea.

One way I practice openers is to just do Zurvan Extreme unsynced since it doesn’t die until after the transition. But we should definitely have a better way of practicing.

Yeah SSS ought to get a "reset everything"-button, tbh. GW2 has that for its dummy, too.

GW2's training dummy is in a different league in general. Being able to apply all buffs and debuffs in the game to simulate different testing environments makes them so much more useful.
