Looks like they are hiring a Scenario Writer currently. Hoping they find someone great and this may be a good sign they are understanding some of the feedback and reception towards the most recent writing.

That was not mentioned, but it is obvious they will be working on content for Dawntrail and after since they don't go back in time and work on past expansions.

The example quest they have to write is the same example quest given in all previous versions of this job that were advertised for years. They recruit scenario writers frequently. You can see this via archive.org (for as long as that website exists).

"The main task is to write scenarios for new content added for each patch" - content could be anything, but it's unlikely they'd put a new employee straight onto the MSQ without letting them work on sidequests first.

Yes going to the job posting it was posted "30+ days ago" and may even be hiring a temp. Probably trying people out and seeing who sticks, which isn't promising.

The job requirements are pretty low too, when they really need someone high profile to turn this around.

I bet it's creatively a really stiffling place to work at anyway, I bet Yoshi runs a super tight ship with his formula and barely allows anything through the cracks-... Though I am 100% sure he did not play through nor really check through Dawntrail himself, so I guess that might've gotten through. Japanese have this weird habit of making everyone talented into supervisors and hiring some nobodies to take up their mantle.

Kinda ironic they have "creative" in their name, when they seem to be rigid as all seven hells and Japanese business rigid cultured af.

It is true a lot of their team from Heavensward became supervisors. There are good reasons to do that, to train new staff and give them opportunities to learn and grow. The very thing everyone is asking SE to do (hire people).

But it would be ideal if those supervisors were working on the game again now FF16 is done.

Ah yes, fellow supporter, they can do no wrong. It is a good thing to promote people with talent into meaningless supervisional jobs while hiring people with 0 experience to take over a well-established franchise that requires care and respect to toss people with 0 experience straight into the fire that may or may not bankrupt their company. It is truly revolutionary planning and a grand example of how true diamonds are created in the most pressurecoated of situations.
