Steam Client crashes at Launch

Hello,

do you use any other overlay? I find discord overlay causing this from time to time for me. Game then freezes a moment at the start. Please deactivate it.

I had deactivated the Discord overlay at the same time as deactivating the Steam overlay.

We would be happy to assist with your concern. For further assistance, please provide a 'DXDIAG'. This can be done by clicking 'Start' on the Windows icon and click 'Run'. At the run line, please type 'DXDIAG', and hit "OK". Then click "Save all information" (in the DXDIAG window) and save it to a .txt file. Copy all that information and reply to this thread with it. Please also include all details involved with the problem for investigation on our end.

I will say that the only solution I was able to find was to just uninstall FF14 using Revo, uninstall Steam, reinstall Steam, and then reinstall FF14. But I do not consider this a feasible or acceptable solution every time there's a large patch that kicks me back to not being able to launch FF14. And the 7.2 update seems to have brought the issue back as I am again getting the black screen.

EDIT: Again, I would like to reiterate that I was able to access FF14 for almost the entirety of the latest Moogle Treasure Trove event, given that my original post was a day after it started. The game launched on the first attempt practically every single time for almost a month straight. Then, the latest patch comes out and I can no longer access the game through Steam at all.
