Getting sent back to my home world after logging out for couple of hours

This is weird behaviour. This has been happening to me even before this patch a couple days before where i would log out in Aether Sargatanas and then after logging out to go sleep i would find myself in dynamis seraph again after waking up and logging in i get presented with "character couldnt be found" and i would have to manually log into dynamis again and find my character there again??

i became paranoid and logged into my mog station to check if someone else logged into my account but nope its just my IP and my logins. It doesnt kick me after 1 hour but im sure after +5 hours it kicks me from the data center i traveled to. i was already kicked from sargatanas back to back, i can replicate this issue without a doubt by just logging out in sarg for couple of hours just to find my character back in seraph. I tried to look up in reddit, google everywhere if theres something that explains this system but i can't find or read anything about this. I asked in shout chat once and one person experienced the same thing and reported it as bug aswell. So IDK whats going on and i would like an explaination?

Edit: Just to remind this happens anytime i want. it happened now too. i logged in with the same prompt that "character couldnt be found" in sargatanas and i had to manually select dynamis seraph from the main menu just to log into my character.

This has happened to me 2 days in a row. I log out on Aether (first day was on Siren, second day was on Jenova), then get sent back to home world.

Yep! i just woke up and logged in. I was send back again. This is happening to me every single day without a fail. I was just met with the "character not found" text box again. had to manually select dynamis to login again.

This is happening to me as well. I thought it was because of the emergency maintenance, but then it kept on happening!

Oh, thank God! I thought I was going nuts. This exact same thing is happening to me. I'll go to Aether, go to bed, and wake up to find out that my character got sent back to Dynamis for some reason.

This is also happening to me; glad to see other people are dealing with it, and I'm not just suddenly forgetting I sent my alt back.

I have an alt character on the same service account from Halicarnassus (Dynamis) who I'm using alongside my main character (the character displayed on my forum account) for savage raiding next week. I want to use the character for split clears so my static can efficiently distribute gear through the next month. I've been sending that character to Sargatanas (Aether) this past week to do MSQ, do roulettes, and farm the 7.2 extreme with my static, who meets on Aether. I log out every night and wake up after noon PST, and every single time, I only see my main character (Winifreya) on Sargatanas, while my alt has been sent back to Halicarnassus to Old Gridania where they started MSQ. This also happened to me in 7.1 during the Mogtomes event and right before maintenance; I was finishing patch preparations with crafting and capping tomestones of comedy, logged out of my main character, and saw that my alt character was missing and sent back to Halicarnassus. They had recently been receiving the authorizations message, so I thought it was a case of that sending my character back: I logged onto Halicarnassus, checked retainers and my house, and then moved them back to Sargatanas. I've done the same thing several times this week before sending them to Sargatanas, and they still get sent back.

I checked the patch notes through 7.1x (since I've only seen it happen since 7.1 to knowledge), and a friend has also checked them. Neither of us could find any information about it. I know someone in my static has also undergone this, saying: "I know they're supposed to kick you back after like a month, but I also know my alt got kicked back this morning after only a day on aether". This message was sent on Saturday, March 29 (Pacific Time).

I don't understand why there wouldn't be a note about the change. I have real-life things to attend to on the morning of savage release (Tuesday for 7.21), and I won't be able to send my alt character to Aether early in advance. My static is planning to start with splits immediately, and I've been assigned to raid on Tuesday with my alt character from Halicarnassus. I can see it being an intentional change as a result of congestion that was done in advance and without notice, but having no notice is the problem. I would rather know I wasn't losing my mind and subconsciously returning my alt to Halicarnassus every night so that I can handle it before it becomes a problem for me and my static in savage. TL;DR Please just tell us if this was an intentional change in the patch notes ������

I guess they addressed and fixed it with this hotfix
