Moogle Treasure Trove Feedback (more of a complaint)

When they made overhaul to the Moogle treasure trove event and added this god awful mogpendium system, that was the time when i started to hate Moogle treasure trove event and i barely even do Moogle treasure trove events anymore when getting Moogle tomestones is so boring slow and tedious grind.

How is the overhaul made the grind worse? Am i missing something? Im not even asking this in a bad way i genuinely dont understand where you are coming from with this.

All the "overhaul" was, that it gave us some weekly objectives that can be usually completed within 20 minutes and it gives us like 5 praetorium worth of tomestones for doing 1 specific task.
The old system was just random ARR stuff blessed by the mog icon and it rewarded you with 2-5 tomes upon completion. This is still part of the event. You can still run around with blue mages and nuke everything if u prefer it that way.

If anything the overhaul made the grind less stressful since you can complete the weeklies and still collect hundreds of tomestones by the end of the event without even touching a single ARR dungeon.

Why do the Weekly/Minimog/Ultimog not have more variety?

All of the Weekly/Minimog/Ultimog Are level 61 (Ultimog) and 70, 80, or 90 for the others ones even for characters still in ARR or HW.

Could we have some choices? Even the alternative choice for the weekly Fates requires you have the Endwalker Island.

Why is it so restricted? Can't their be choices for lower levels?

I know you can slog it out with the standard objectives, however, I don't see the point in being so narrow in the other methods.

You cant blame them too much they dont really know how to design repeatable content.

They just started doing this a bit ago so I think they still need to adjust some things about the requirements. I know they want Ultimog to be just one certain thing, but it really probably should keep some sort of level check in mind. I haven't tried on a lower character yet so I don't know if they fixed that issue with Minimog and the weekly yet.

Also they do mention this but it was a bit of an odd thing to have Ultimog depend on fixed floors and thus having a fixed party. They probably should have made it doing 1 to 30 and having to start at 1 for the same effect but allowing matching.

PF exists, though. I mean, I never cleared HoH, and I found a friendly group. We did it in one hour, which was faster than I expected and I'm not good at games.

HoH is high end now?
Seriously, just talk to people
you don't need to join a discord for it lol
Shout chat, party finder, etc
Everyone has the same ultimog challenge, it really shouldn't be that difficult to find like-minded people that want to clear it

The only downside I can see is that if you hadn't started HoH, it might seem daunting to get to the floor required for the challenge
because you won't have arm or armor aetherpool

other than the obvious glaring issue of newer players being unable to do it due to MSQ progression, which is another issue entirely

but the ultimog challenge is something that you have plenty of time to work toward
and honestly once you unlock floor 30 it's really easy to farm aetherpool

Very much not high end content for that floor level, easier than any DT dungeon. Just no fixed match maker.

I wouldn't really call it high-end... floors 1-70~ are very very accessible to players, the only problem is that it requires a fixed party, and isn't based around matched parties.. Which kinda defeats the purpose of the objective -- If the objective is to speed up queues in older content. -- and it is locked behind Floor 50 of PotD.. Which after floor 10 or 20 has some really nasty queue timers, so it can act as a barrier in even being able to unlock HoH in the first place. I mean they can PF it... But the incentive for everyone else just ain't that great.

People will just PF it.. Absolutely doesn't need Discord tbh
