Game crashes while loading, no error

Platform - Windows 10 64-bit
Processor - 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12600KF
Installed RAM 32 GB
Wired connection - Ethernet
ISP - Xfinity
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super
SSD - Samsung SSD 990 evo 1TB
When error occurs/How often: After hitting the play button. Every time I try to log in.

So far I have:
~ Reinstalled the game twice
~ Updated graphics card
~ Updated PC/drivers
~ Running the launcher as admin

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We would like for you to try and launch the game from the direct .exe file to see if this may resolve the issue as it may be a shortcut issue. If this is not the case, could you try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Then, disable everything under this tab and restart the PC. Additionally, please be sure to have the Operating System and Internet Explorer most up to date as well. Additionally, can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display'.

Update: turns out it was the Brave browser that was causing issues. As soon as I used any other browser the game launched perfectly every time.
