Will we ever get the Friends List Updated?

For someone who's ambiently gathered many people on my Friends List, across many servers and such, it really is a drag to try and manage the Friends List in various ways. Why does it need to reload every time you remove someone off of it? Why does it load in, in increments of 10 making larger friends lists even more annoying to manage? Why can't I player search people who're in an instance?

This isn't even getting to the biggest point I want to make too, which is people unfriending you. You don't know it because you're still friended to them, and the best way to find out is if you try and tell them across servers and it fails, while you know they're not in an instance. Why isn't there a button to auto-purge people off that have unfriended you, or some indicator that they've unfriended you? We've gotten new features around interacting with folks via Blocking/Muting/Filtering and I feel like something I potentially interact with multiple times a day to check in on people needs to be less clunky.

Give us better UI or load times for Friends, the ability to purge people who've removed us, batch unfriending if it needs to reload every time, something better you know?

SE is a small indie company they cant afford a proper friendlist system and anti stalking measures, please be understanding and dont forget to buy more things on the cash shop to fund a proper friend list system (maybe) by 2035.

Also please think of the stalkers and how hurt they would be if they saw the other person removed them from their friend list (Yes this is actually the argument brought up by SE, not even joking either, the argument is that people would have their feelings hurt seeing they got removed from people's friendlists so they refuse to do it)

They said they would get to it next now they've done the Blacklist, but it is probably not a priority, so expect it in a random patch, possibly months or years in the future.

It probably won't contain the exact changes you want though. The reason you aren't told when someone unfriends you is because it's not nice to find out that someone removed you. It can make you feel unhappy and wonder why they did it. And they don't want to make players feel this way intentionally, so it's an intentional design choice.

The 10 friends loading at a time thing is quite annoying. Most likely there is a better way to do it but I am sure they justify it by a technical reason.

Lamest excuse by Devs for not including something is "It could hurt feelings!" like being actively ignored by someone who already has unfriended you or finding out yourself due to certain tells. By technicality if you make it a button that unfriends people who unfriended you, you're opting in on the pain and its not an auto process so its entirely on the player not the game. Also don't expect everything I say to be added, but if I want to clear parts of my friend-list in less than 10min due to it constantly reloading every single time then maybe that would help.

All those Devs working REAL hard on those key features we want like barely obtainable niche Housing Deco, more content to soak in and not think about how long it'll actually be to get a tiny chunk of story many don't even like rn, dead-end grind content they may update a short few times till its abandoned next expansion entirely, and the deep thought provoking process of Viera and Hroth Hats and Hair but not actually working on it actively because they apparently have a tiny Dev team that can't put one person on that duty and to hammer it out over time.

In all honesty its kind of funny in the morbid kind of way that they developed a system that benefits creeps and stalkers more than the casual players being disappointed you were unfriended.

After the tragedy they somehow managed to pull off with the Blacklist system.. I am not entirely sure I actually want them to update the Friends List.

I think they should turn the friends list into a 3d gallery so we can easily keep up on our friends glamour updates.

Whoever decided that "Hurt Feelings" has such a warped view on friendship, friendships work both ways. I don't want people on my list who are "Fake friends" that if I message to do something make up some generic excuse of being busy etc...
I've been removing anyone from my list that I wouldn't want to socialise with or do content with, just each time you open your list check the online ones and remove those who you don't want.
When your list has been narrowed down to who you consider friends it's time to try teleporting to the ones who have houses and if it won't let you then you've been removed by them so remove those people too.

I mean there doesn’t have to be any notification, just make you quietly disappear from the other person’s list. It’s mind boggling to me that doesn’t already happen.
