I think the only reason derplander isn't in a TT card himself is because he's only used in promotional material and never in the actual game.

Please don't misunderstand, it's a good idea! However, from the perspective of your character, the scions, or anyone else. They'll say: "Who tf is this derplander fella?"

Although an excuse to pull it out would be something like: "We asked an artist to create a TT card for you, but it seems for some reason they got the wrong picture for you" or something along those lines.

ex tab of TT card is non-canon for FF14 universe, so it's okay to make that card and put it in there

I think this is a good idea. While Kranel_San brings up a good point, the solution by the OP of making it a silver card and then call it something like 'Meteor Survivor' addresses that, since none of those are in this game.

Nah, they should call it Derplander. At least in english, I don't know if the Japanese community has a nickname for him.
