So many in this thread:

The problem is, that these grinds; more specifically rewards are more catered to very very new players, which is OK, but these grinds are really not worth it with experienced players, which most players here are... Like, there's 2 things on this list which I don't actually have, and most of it is going to resort to doing 1 dungeon ad nauseum, which if we're being honest isn't exactly new anyway, and as per other posts the grinds which may be more interesting or serve as a challenge is usually just an ultimog.

Ahahaha SE you forgot to put the Gancanagh card on the list again. It's almost been 2 years since it came out with absolutely no alternate way to get it ahaha. No really, Eureka Orthos came out with patch 6.35, on the 6th of March 2023.

The only upside of this event to me is the fact fodders will start flooding Rival Wings & it’s time to farm their salty tears once more.

The items? Outside Hades mount and maybe an earring that will take up a dresser slot which I’ll never even use for myself, there’s nothing good for me to pick up. The Sims 4 jacket? I already gottem the last time they’re here & frankly it’s a surprise to see them again now, of all times. I wonder why…

Good event if you haven't done much content or are a new player, I guess.
I already have the other things so I guess I can passively get more MGP tickets to buy more claw machines for the fun of it since I don't have anything to particularly buy with those either...

Is it worth buying the special Lv70/80/90 maps at all ?

I always thought this events were made for people like me. I simply play the game and do zero research outside the game. So I have no idea what Elidibus' Whistle does, or where do get it (obviously from Elidibus, but no idea what difficulty level - expert, savage, ultimate, chaotic, insane, pointless, ... - or how to beat it).
So whenever a Moogle event starts, I look at the list and always see something nice I like to have, and which is fun to invest my play time in.

Seeing how a casual like me enjoys the Moogle events, it's clear that someone from the other side of the spectrum will not see much point in doing them.

You could never please everyone.
It is great for us who take breaks or have little time to play daily, that we miss out some old content and want to earn it.

Just looking at the list, I would have to stop most of my daily roulette and focus on the event just to get most of the items I want.

It is impossible to create event and content to cater to all groups of audience.

The thing is the overwhelming majority of these things are still accessible (it’s basically the jacket and the earring that aren’t)

If you want these items and you don’t have them you can go get them anytime

So if you are in a position where you want these items you likely aren’t lapsing your sub anytime soon and if you are considering lapsing your sub there is basically nothing here you want because you can already go get it

So what is this event designed to do?……………reward proverbial lazy people (not insulting just the easiest way I can think to phrase it)

The usual, "Swap around reward table and do no other change" event. And of COURSE time gate anything that has a chance of being remotely interesting. How about giving a huge list of actual tasks that a person can burn through in a day or take their time. Getting a person to do activities they normally wouldn't. Just off the top of my head.

• Reach maximum level on a job
• Do fates in Y zone.
• Complete an extreme trial
• Win triple triad matches.
• Visit lookout points.
• Complete S-Rank Hunts
• Do 12 custom deliveries.
• Compete in PVP activities.

But no, as usual anything remotely worth doing will be time gated and the standards so boring they not worth doing.

The semi interesting options for tomes are usually the ultimog or the weekly mog challenges

You can only say do the “reach floor 100 of POTD” once but you can do cutters cry as many times as you want
