[CROSS-DC] Will we ever get NA to EU?

I know a bit ago OCE was opened up to be visited by other DCs, but I wanted to ask when and if we would ever get NA to EU. I have a lot of friends in the EU and my NA friends have slowly fallen off playing.

Unfortunately, OCE has way too terrible ping to meet up over there and play. It's impossible to do anything other than maps there and if we wanted to do content.. the timezone difference is terrible since most OCE players are asleep when we can visit.

At least if I was able to go to the EU, the ping wouldn't be so terrible and the timezone wouldn't be polar opposite.

My desire to play this game has fallen off significantly since I'm not able to play with my friends and I am really just hanging on by a thread here and hoping we will get NA and EU cross-dc abilities.

I really hope SE is thinking about implementing this and soon. I would have loved to do the new exploratory missions we're about to get in 7.2 with my EU friends. But alas.

And before anyone mentions why I don't just move.
Timezones for if I ever do find people on NA or those friends come back, and I'm on Balmung with a house. I don't want to lose my house and I also don't want to never be able to go back to my home server. I have been on Balmung since the launch of ARR.


Edit: I forgot to mention that I know one reason there has been hesitation has to do with JP expressing not wanting to be connected. That is fine. I think we can all wholly respect that and SE can just make it so that NA and EU are connected for now. Could later consider adding JP if their desires change or maybe make it so JP can visit out, but no one visit in. But I think not connecting NA and EU because of JP is kind of a lame reason not to. There is no reason to ignore all of us begging for NA and EU to be connected since SE has proven they can link some DCs without linking all.

I hope not, Cross between Chaos and Light yes, but NA and EU? No really i hope they forget about it, i dont wanna bother with NA Player which have a bad ping then and blame the ping for fails.

That isn't an excuse. If someone playing NA<>EU messes up and says it's ping, it's not ping. They just don't understand the game.

The only time it's ping is if: it would be ping when playing on their own region too (such as a lag spike, bad hardware, DDoS).

I can be in a red area that appears only at the end of the cast and move out of it within the 1 second it appears for with 150-200 ping, and I don't get hit. So there is no excuse at all.

Can't stop laughing at that because that's exactly what Trump a person elected through democracy is doing punishing everyone because it got problem with a few, the mind of people like you with a QI under 100 is truly a mistery.

So let's get real people you want EU and NA people to be able to access each other freely in a time where a US president is doing everything in is power to shit on EU ?
We won't certainly have a cold war happening between Trump fanatics going to EU server to troll/spam/mock/provoke and EU people responding in the same way, which could easily grow in intensity with people sending message to Trump on "Truth social" to save them from bad EU people in their game making square enix a target.
