    Practice moade

Hi was wondering how people would feel about a practice mode for all dongens/trials as well as savage/.extreme and ultimate as well

Mode whould work like you wher doing the contain but take no damage so you can practice mechanics
Clears would not count as a clear in this mode

It would serve no purpose as your healers would be unable to practice their role.

It would be great. Suppose you could go in to an EX or savage with 7 phantoms, the boss HP fell at a set rate so no one had to dps, you could auto heal, and you'd just be there to dodge and survive. It would certainly make higher end duties more accessible so you could learn at your own pace without having to spend hours waiting around in PF, and when you did join a PF you'd have a better chance to progress and less time would be wasted.

It's never going to happen though.

We have it for dungeons. It's called Duty Support (plus you can unsync old dungeons or solo them synced with a Blue Mage).

I do think it could work to practice a duty yourself to learn it (without all the trap parties), then join farm parties when confident. In fact, this is possible with Unreal where you can unsync the original version to practice it. It's also possible using the sim for specific phases, which is extremely effective at fast-tracking you to having a phase on farm.

But it's a fantasy when they can just barely add support for dungeons and say that trials are very difficult to do (they have added 3, but they don't seem to think it is something they can do regularly).

I could understand somewhat for extremes or Savage to help people get a feel for them, if they want to overburden... But even then I would only do this to the extend of expand the SSS -- Or whatever they call it these days.

For normal mode it isn't necessary, there's trusts and duty support which will enable you to learn whilst getting exp, and normal mode generally doesn't have a lot in it which would require you to learn. The biggest issues with Normal is it just being so slow paced that by the time the next mechanic comes around, half the people have already fell asleep or decided to do something on their second screen.
