I didn’t play wow that much but can talk about the dungeons. First of all you have multiple routes in every dungeon and can sometimes skip rooms and bosses if you don’t need their loot. You can decide how much enemies you want to pull, who takes aggro, who do what. The enemies are dungeons and if you die you lose exp points and have to run back to the dungeon which you don’t want to so you fight for your life, while if xiv you just restart and this bullshit’s considered QoL, it’s not it just makes me to not care about the mechanics. You have locked rooms and to open them you need to farm keys, or buy them or ask other players to open these doors for you. You can decide how much people you wanna go with, you can even clear some rooms solo even if you’re low level. None of this is scripted these are real interactions when you aren’t forced to do anything, when you can decide on your own how you want to clear the dungeon.

You don't play much Wow yet to puke every argument you saw previously in this forum about how somehow WoW is the Jesus FF14 needs.

FF14 was NEVER the game you are crying about at any point or if it was, they moved away from it for a good reason and they will never come back to it as it will make 0 sense to do it.

The sequence of attacks and debuffs resolving is always the same

Nael phase's randomness doesn't come from mechanic order lmao it comes from random targeting. This can significantly alter your rotation on (old) casters for instance, back when they actually had cast times. It makes every encounter with Nael different because you cannot execute the same fixed rotation again and again and expect to succeed. That phase is also one of the few places in the game where tank positioning subtly matters as mechanics can go on the main tank and flank/rear exposal is not guaranteed with a bad tank.

If you're insisting that this isn't truly random either thanks for doing my job because everything else in FF14 is even more scripted. Like I'm trying to come up with a somewhat positive take on a fight in this game. But guess not!

Actually, I get it now; because you struggle with doing your rotation in Savage fights you're probably mixing up your rotation every single pull so every new pull feels new to you because you have no idea what you're doing anyways. So the rotational changes in Nael is just a daily occurrence for you. LMAO

Yeah, thanks for clarifying that you are just a poser. "someone gets a mechanic and cannot do their fixed rotation, hence the fight is incredibly random" is an even dumber take than your "mechanics and rotation are the same" take from before. As if melees don't have to regularly disengage to properly resolve mechanics (it's why high parses become very synthetic the moment parse runs start). Heck, with your complete lack of logic, Twin phase before is even more random.

As I said, large portion of this player base has completely lost track of what's important in life. Your rhetoric alone is unbelievably crass considering we are talking about a video game, for which some people report incredible discomfort playing it. Yes, the correct and healthy way to go about such a state of being, is not playing this game. Video game addiction is a serious issue with hard real life repercussions, not some funny haha joke.

It just had a certain karmic irony to it. There is always a bigger fish somewhere ready to tell you to get better or leave the game because you're wasting their time.

If someone is legit struggling with the easiest of easiest content, then yes, there does come a point where it becomes reasonable to ask if this is even the correct activity for this person. If anything was nonsense you didn't explain it. I made sure to ask about the context in which we were considering the idea because while it's very easy in the abstract sense there are more considerations and limitations to take into account in practice, and even more if we're trying to add it to an existing product like FF14. Still nowhere near impossible though.
