idk how to break this to you Allen but this guy is only replying to rile you up and it's working

Pve doesnt need to change. Its literally decadeproof for the next 10 years. You guys dont understand. This game could be like other MMOs with reaction and surprises. Nobody with a job, going to school or that has a kid has time for that. Let alone any time for learning personalized job mechanics or "flavor". The more similar and familiar everything is the better.

I think we should be less selfish, and think about the devs time too. They have lives and families to get to. Designing is hard work, and Yoshi-P travels so much all the time promoting the game to new avenues and companies for promos and collabs. We should be thankful he got the name of FFXIV on the map and in shops.this has to be satire xddd
the fact that nothing could change for the next 10 years, and the game would still exist is the exact reason why people are complaining
i also don't understand the grounds of your statement when you say, "nobody has time with a job or kids", as if raiding is not time consuming?
People just want a bit more flavor to their food sometimes.
I think we should just believe in the formula, as it really really helps with people with busy lives.
The next ten years we will be great and even pass WoW, I can feel it. Just believe in the formula and dont forget to smile
The real genius in FF14's design is that you get so much joy out of these recycled raids because you never actually have to play through any of them!Pve doesnt need to change. Ultimate raids will forever be fresh and novel because you can simply choose to never do any of them! Don't worry though, you can still get to talk about UCOB despite never setting foot in any single Ultimate![]()

Pass the pizza soda and popcorn please starving for this drama XD
You open the door theres nothing in sight. You close the door wondering whats in sight. But lets be honest its probably gonna just let you down.

Yep this is all true it is a memory game, as are most pve games.
You don't even need to be particularly good at your job. Long as you do a decent job you'll do fine.
Raids don't ask much more of you than that. Maybe Ultimates push you to the very brink I wouldn't know haven't tried an ultimate yet.
While memorization is a lot of the fights, there are several aspects that help me not feel like it's the only thing that matters.
The first is that when you get to higher difficulties, there are often one or more mechanics that require real time problem solving. Even if you have the solution memorized, you still have to untangle the strings fast enough to resolve it. The second is that I enjoy improving at the fights. Even if I can do them, there's usually something I could have done better than I can work on next time. That turns my focus from the parts I have memorized already to the parts I can improve on. The third is that I have a lot of friends who either play the game or who I met while playing the game, and when we really do have fights down that much, we can chat and have fun while we're doing them. If we're grinding an EX so we can all get the mount, we can just chat and have a good time the same as you would running treasure dungeons or doing dailies.
