Many other major companies (Sony, EA, Ubisoft etc.) offers streaming of their conference on their site..
Will SE too? They're suppose to show their biggest project ever to the world and no streaming? Hmm.![]()

I really don't know. SE's decision is always weird, and it's always different than what everyone else is doing, and I just can't help but to think their marketing people are just incompetent.
If it is true, and they don't stream, I have to agree with Hycinthus. That is just plain stupid.
SE's excuse is always just weird, maybe it's badly translated, but it's always something like, "look forward for it.... 2 weeks from now", then we never get anything. Or "we try to make the fans excited so no streaming for now, or the CEO of SE will kill me if we stream, bla bla " kind of stuff.
The thing is, this is no time to be conservative, or holding back content. This is the time to go all out. No more secrets, no more holding back information. People need to know, and we were fooled the first time around, so this is their second and last chance.
Just have it all out there. GW2 was able to do a 45 minute stream with people playing and commenting. Why can't this one be like that too? I'm sure there's some weird excuse like "our game is not suited for a 45 minute streaming because we want to keep all the good juicy content until 2013".
Gotta agree with that. It's time to pull out all the stops and make people WANT this game. We have a scorned PC playerbase who will be taking everything they see with a grain of salt, so we need to make sure they have too much to digest. We also have an untapped PS3 playerbase that, hopefully, is eager to see what has changed since 1.X was pulled out from under them for being so terribly bad.SE's excuse is always just weird, maybe it's badly translated, but it's always something like, "look forward for it.... 2 weeks from now", then we never get anything. Point is, there's very few people who will be looking at 2.0 without peering through some 1.X glasses... We need to show them lots of good stuff.
