Bands would be cool, a metal headbang emote, kpop dances, or playing instruments, there is potential there
On the other hand, they have a track record with food emotes, so, anything that isnt already an emote is up for grabs, eat sushi, eat beef bowl, eat fajita, etc
What I do hope they try at some point is furniture emotes, imagine an Ikea collab and we get a folding chair emote, the WoL puts the chair and just takes a seat
With art supplies (and picto) they could make a nice brush design, and an emote that makes traditional caligraphy in the air, or a nice illustration that represents them
Clothing brands are always a easy collab, just have them design clothes for you to put in the game, and then add a Modeling emote or model poses with each set of clothes
Personal opinion is that not having the camera be at least somewhat FFXIV themed is a bit of a miss. Too much of a straight port from real life into XIV. A loporrit, or allagan, or garlean, or solution 9 camera would have been better to me. But hey, can't complain about a free emote. It's not a dealbreaker to me.
Otherwise, I personally wish it'd been part of a little questline, but like above, it's not a dealbreaker. Yeah, a questline would've been better, but at the least it's not a shop emote or something that you get when you buy an expensive camera.
a sponsorship emote that doesnt cost money, isnt from a competition the majority cant win, and isnt locked behind content no one plays and will be given to all players just from logging in?

"Well, it's no Vana'diel, but it'll have to do..."
I mean, a camera isn't without precedent (FFXI had a camera in lore called a 'soultrapper' that was part of the ZNM questline, and even here in FFXIV the FFXV event showed Noctis taking a photo with his smartphone, as in his own game).
But yeah I would have prefered it to at least look a little more like something the Ironworks or Garlemald would have made (clunky/steampunky), or I guess we can just say it's another Alexandrian/Solution 9 tech or something from another alien world found in Ultima Thule. (I admit I'm grasping at straws here). Still, it's amazing this is being offered for free for everyone, and much appreciated.
Solution 9 is not Final Fantasy, it's just straight up cyberpunk.
They don't care for their worldbuilding, it's just a cute emote from the real world, because they know most people use this game as a second life simulator. Its not deep, nor do they care if it adheres to the lore of the game or not, same with all the 90's snowboarder glam from playstation 1. Or Harajuku fashion they insert into this game. Not a single npc has worn those before Solution 9.
Did this need a 5 and a half minute video explaining it?
Did you need to link to a video instead of just linking to the lodestone news advertising it?

It’s Meoni.
I seem to recall him making a 2-minute video reporting on a patch changing the color of the soles on Noctis’ boots.
