Demoralizing Queue

I'm at the end of the main story for Endwalker and cannot get a group for The Final Day. I waited in queue for over an hour last night and for over an hour and a half today and still cannot get a group. When this is required for story progression, there HAS to be a better way that doesn't prevent people from progressing. This is the worst I've felt since starting the game. It makes we want to cancel my subscription and play something else.

Put up a PF and say you are looking for a clear for the story. There are usually plenty of ppl willing to jump in and help you get a quick clear.

Besides PF, you might want to DC travel to a more populous Data Center, then put up your PF or queue in Duty Finder there. I would suggest Primal, as Aether tends to be closed to DC travel a lot. Good luck!

I'm sorry, but I am still new to all of this and I don't know what PF is or how to access it. Total time spent in the queue is now more than 3 1/2 hours without a party. This is extremely discouraging and they need to do something to fix this. I had a similar experience with the trial to face Hades at the end of Shadowbringers. You have this amazing cinematic that hypes you up for the fight, but then you have to wait in a queue for over an hour if you can get a group at all and all of that hyped emotion has faded. I would think that if they put so much effort into making the story epic they would do something to prevent this absurd difficulty finding a group for the content because it completely ruins the experience.

Did U activate all languages in Ur duty finder settings? it's not activated by itself, U need to do it Urself.

PF means Party Finder, sorry. Go to your main menu, the little circles on your UI, and select party > party finder. This will pull up a box with all the parties that are recruiting. On the bottom left will be a button that says recruit members, click on that and it will open another box. It should default to the "normal" tab on top which is the one you want. Since this is a trial, under details: duty select "trials" which will open another box directly under, here select "the final day", under objective select "duty completion" then in comments just type in you are new and need a quick clear for story progression. If the "limit recruiting to world server" is checked on the right side, uncheck it so the post is live on the entire data center, it will help fill it more quickly. The rest you can leave as is. Click on "recruit members" on the bottom right hand side of this box and your posting will go live. Now you just wait for ppl to join and once full you queue for the duty like normal.
