Disable the 30 minute penalty but only for Crystal Tower raids

You are running old content in exchange for rewards greater than that content gives you without roulette. You exchange your choice of content for a reward. If you want to keep your choice, don't run roulette.

As much as this has been repeated when this topic comes up, I don't think it's a good answer. Threads like this popup because roulettes aren't designed to be fun and since this is a video game, that's a massive issue. Rewards don't excuse that. People want the game to be better and I don't know why anyone would want to argue against that request.

Being boring doesn't help anyone. It doesn't help people progressing, nor does it help people leveling, nor does it help people waiting in queue times. The roulette system is not a perfectly optimized solution that can't be tweaked or replaced and yes the roulettes would remain roulettes even if people could exclude content from them, which is a feature already built into roulettes since there is no roulette that includes all content.

Aside from World of Darkness potentially. doing the ARR alliance raids is faster than waiting through the 30 min penalty.

It has nothing to do with time, the CT raids are boring. Id rather take a three DAY penalty then run one of them for the four-thousandth time. As such, i am among those who ran this daily long ago but dropped the roulette completely in late stormblood/early shadowbringers.

Running a level 100 dungeon gives basically the same amount of tomes as the alliance roulette. If you want exp you can run a leveling dungeon instead. There is no reason to run the alliance roulette if you don't enjoy it.

no at this point, they just need to throw crystal tower in the MSQ roulette plain and simple gives it more than just the the the what like 2 or 3 4 mans it have right now.

Maybe that's just me, but this being a massively multiplayer online game, where the idea is to play with other people and alliance raid give a tint of that, kinda defeats the purpose. The raids themselves are fine, but they're not when you're stuck with 3 buttons for a rotation from a relic's past. If they'd made other AR mandatory as CT is, this still wouldn't rule out getting CT most of the time (maybe), but I'm having more fun doing Thaleia than CT, and I hate Thaleia more than I hate CT. I get to use my skills, that's the difference.

This is the consequence of the moronic decision to make CT raids required. They weren't before. You stupidly tied them to Shadowbringers when you didn't even need to. You could've redesigned the quests that needed to be mandatory with the required information to make Shadowbringers make sense without making optional content mandatory.

We should just stop running CT in general and force SquareEnix to create the fix they should've done in the first place. Because the very second it becomes impossible to progress, they will cave.

Do people actually do roulette for the " fun"? lol. I have only ever used roulette for tomes and the easier the outcome, the better. If I really want to play high level raids, I'll just queue for them normally.
