Disable the 30 minute penalty but only for Crystal Tower raids

Except nier raids don't come up 90% of the time like the CT raids do. Yes, that's how the system work, good job captain obvious. The whole point of the thread is that the system is bad and needs to be changed because of the over representation of the CT raids.

In decades of using the internet I never understood why when people criticize the way something work, there are always obtuse people replying with "that's how it works".

I still get Nier plenty, to my dislike. I got Puppet's the other night. I got Mhach tonight. I've seen a lot of WoD but very little Syrcus and LotA. CT has a higher bias, but it's not so overwhelming that it's the only thing that ever comes up unless there are new people, which does happen from time to time.

It doesn't need to be changed and the suggestions for changing it wouldn't fix the root cause: that people only want to run what they want and don't want to respect a roulette. People have suggested pulling CT out into a CT-specific roulette. Okay, now people will complain about getting Mhach all the time. I think someone in this very thread was complaining about Void Ark. Another was to make CT harder. But these are tied to the MSQ and that will make it harder for people to get through that aspect of the MSQ because people will start bailing on them because they're hard. Ivalice had a ton of people who would bail on it when it was current. So you'd still have the same issue, just a reverse of the people who are leaving now. I bet most people in this thread don't even do the roulette, because every time these threads pop up you see a whole lot of people saying they don't do it meaning they aren't currently engaging with it so they can't really speak on what it is or isn't currently doing. But they want to dictate things for those who do engage with it on a daily basis, like myself.

Stop muddling things by jumbling together disparate, unrelated arguments. Its not about "so and so don't like raid X", it's about "CT raids are over represented because they are mandatory for the MSQ". That makes them special, and having them being handled in a special way would make sense. Yes, you may have people afterward complain that they feel that they get mhach all the time, but there will never be a consensus about that, unlike CT raids, because unlike CT raids, there is no mechanical reason for other raids to be over represented.

If anything, the only reason something like nier raids may end up being over represented may simply be if people queue specifically for them more, and the reason they'd do that is because they like them, not because they are mandatory to complete (I myself for example often queue for nier raids + orbonne + rhidorana, because they are my 5 favorite raids).

Speaking from personal experience from queueing directly into these ‘rare ARs’, Copied Factory do pop more easily than the other 2 NieR raids. But that could also be accounted for being the lowest denominator of the 3.

Oh? I just assumed it dropped in all three parts and people just picked the one they liked doing most, I didn't know it was limited to one specific part of it.

It's from a coffer that drops twice from copied factory's last boss. You also have role specific pieces dropping randomly from every boss in all 3 raids but they are much less popular

Rework CT raids, and make it actually fun imho. Make Cloud of Darkness an easier version of the chaotic version.

Remake the Coils as well, toss in something new as rewards and you are golden.
The CoB are so underappreciated with the story revelations they offer, it's criminal.

Hunting glam would still qualify tbh, you usually only need 1-2 runs to get 2B coffer, since people might not even want it cuz they have already long gotten their own, but all the YoRHa stuff is gorgeous, plus I know that people are quite fond of the Popola & Devola/Healer & Caster Obsolete Android sets, and the fact the drop system has no failsafes means you might need to run a lot to get the pieces you want, and that's assuming it doesn't get nicked by someone else who happens to be in the same role as you.

Running a level 100 dungeon gives basically the same amount of tomes as the alliance roulette. If you want exp you can run a leveling dungeon instead. There is no reason to run the alliance roulette if you don't enjoy it.

Again ppl putting the feeling before there mouth. Use contex clues. Alliance roullette sucks cause ppl tired of crystal tower. Yeah i get it some of yall a large portion want the game easy but allot of us dont want to live in crystal towers. At this point dailies should be split within expansions in order to allow some choice in what you get.
