Who is this "we"? Across the last couple years here and on our reddit threads, I've seen zero threads outside of Titanman bait that asked for any deliberate or out-of-the-way "focus on current social issues". The matter was more the likes of "If you're going to introduce a whole two-part country that alleges to be decently, could it actually get some decent scale this time and more diversity and fleshing-out between its races than just what differs mere clans of the same one? Some scale and depth would be nice to have for once."

Meanwhile, complaints about the game being "too hard" has almost always focused instead on the difficulty curve being jank (little to meaningfully teach how to play through exposure alone before end-game, and then massive differences between first learning a fight and all subsequent runs of it), not that there is actually hard content to do, let alone that typical content is "too hard".
