FF14 player count reached the lowest point in 4 years. We lost 75% of the playerbase.

Certain sections remain active. I'm really bummed to see the Lore section of the forum being so slow. There just wasn't anything in Dawntrail that sparked discussion or research. It was just "DT bad" and now that we're moving to the next era it's quiet.

Part of the problem is that sections like Lore tend to have a relatively narrow set of players being active there in the first place, and if they're currently on break or left the game, the sub-forum will become more stagnant. There's also the matter of some threads that should have been posted in Lore being posted in General instead, because some users can't be bothered to check the sub-forums and General is simply the most active by far so they go here by default.

So it's not really a DT issue specifically, although it is more noticeable in this expansion due to the overall lower amount of players.
