yall know Dawntrail's MSQ was really poorly received in Japan too right? I don't know how much influence she had over the base script, but it's not like it was solely the localization team that made it bad.

China as well. I don't think DT was received well by any region, no matter how sequestered they are.

For sure. Tbh localization is at the bottom of the list of reason why DT is bad. I'm not a native english speaker so I didn't really notice all the mistakes as well. My beef with her start since ShB-EW, so it's not a new thing for me.

Also, she lowkey had bragged about how localization team also plays a role (though we don't know how big) on the writing... so it's understandable that people think she's part the problem.

I have seen all the MSQ as it unfolded as was here for them all and it was such a big part for me and I used to log on and be so excited to see what was next....SHB and EW where amazing and the Dead Ends dungeon has the most beautiful music and feeling it was such a powerful impact. I played for the MSQ.

Now when I went and did the MSQ in DT I for the first time in like 15 years just was like wtf is this? It was poorly written, I disliked the main character I was wanting to see more of the Scions or at least introduce some other characters that would be on their level and also maybe bring back older ones who have gone awol. I hated the area with all the American cheesy cartoon voices I had to put it back to Japanese or at least skip them lol something I would go ham over if anybody did it but tbh it was that bad I had to.

No offense to any Americans btw I just hate those old cringy cartoon voices and they gave us more of the same later down the line in the MSQ. I hope they get rid of the little emo kid and if all else fails bring back Zenos cos tbh I never thought I would miss him as much as I have lol.
