The next Hildibrand story quest
Hopefully some of the "drastic changes to the world". Please please please SE <3
While this would be super awesome I don't think they will waste much time re-designing maps for the current engin. That seems like a lot of work when the new engin is right around the corner. I assume most fo the world changes will just be previewed in a CS right before the game comes down.
I hope I am wrong though cause it would be cool. And maybe they could just re-do one camp in each nation just to give a preview. I would like to see them implement another CS that automatically plays when you log into the game like they did with that dream a few patches ago... epic.
Also the meteor showers. I saw the airships in coerthas... they are awesome. Saw some meteors but not the destruction mentioned in the news. Goobboues terminate... which means, I suspect, Bloodshore, or the camp south of Bloodshore, is destroyed. Meteors? Invasion? Where are those extensive patch notes anyway?
Also, we are fast approaching Beta... one more month? Where is the information on setting up or stansferring to a Beta account? How is this going to be done? SE should tell us this at least. AND ALPHA? What is going on with ALPHA? Are players already playing ALPHA?
I want the Dalamud horn...hoping they release it...hehe I can feel like a gimp smn![]()
Best part about 1.23a? The end of that horrid Summer event music. Hopefully the last time we will ever hear that song in ffxiv. MAYBE i can turn my music on again ^_^

According to the roadmap, we're supposed to see the changes in August =)While this would be super awesome I don't think they will waste much time re-designing maps for the current engin. It depends how they are doing things, we have a lot of data to port to ARR already, I would suspect they have a program to port data running it through an algorithm that changes what is needed, then it can be tested to make sure everything worked, this would be the most efficient way and they could make world changes just add the changes to the list of data to be altered by their program. However if they are manually porting the data I would agree with you, there is no point in changing things up now, unless the maps haven't been fully ported yet (or they hadn't when they designed the changes)While this would be super awesome I don't think they will waste much time re-designing maps for the current engin. As for the OP's question, what about a new ability "Summon Dalamud meteors" works like the first 2 meteors summoned by the late Van Darnus, and do 9999 damage to mobs within an area of effect? Overpowered maybe, fun hellz yeah!!!
