FFXIV Causes More Stress After Power Supply Replace?

Before I begin describing my problem, I feel I should explain the reason why my power supply has been replaced. My PC had (or maybe still has) an issue where it would randomly shut down, mostly while I play games. After much analysis I learned it was a hardware issue, and I took it to Best Buy (the store where I bought the PC) for repair. They told me the best thing that can do is have me go through a process of trial and error and replace parts of the PC as the problem continues. So we started with the power supply and replaced it with a new copy, and I did a complete system restore once I took the PC home. After downloading most, if not all, the essentials I finally installed and updated Final Fantasy XIV.

So here's the problem: After all this, when my computer runs Final Fantasy XIV the fans in my PC become much louder than they ever have before. As far as I know, I have done nothing different than before I replaced the power supply and performed a system restore. The game itself shows no signs of stress, but the fans do get a little louder in the Black Shroud compared to the other 2 landscapes. But even there, the game shows no signs of stress.

What is causing this problem? Like I said, this has not occurred before I replaced the power supply and performed a system restore. Here are my PC's specs:

    Operating System: Windows 7
    Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
    Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
    Gaming Graphics: 4096 MB
Primary Hard Disk: 864 GB Free (917 GB Total)

Thank you for reading, and good fortune to you in your current and future endeavors.

Edit: Added the last sentence before this one.

If the old power supply was bad then its possible that the fans were never getting enough power in the 1st place.
There may have 3rd party software that controls the fans, much like alienwares "Alien control Panel"

Are your game settings too high, best to not stress your system. I have a great PC but still set some settings lower then my system should be able to handle until 2.o

Where you the one to originally set up the PC? when it was first purchased, not after this most recent restore.

I'm asking because it's possible the fan control program may have been deleted/turned off the first time

Also, which fans are coming on? GPU fan? etc.
