Thematic issues. Why all the sci fi.

These guys angry at sci Fi in this game... Dudes, you can't be more disingenuous.

If you don't like it, that's fine.

But, saying it doesn't fit? That's just dishonest rationalization and doesn't matter the size of your speech. The longer it is, more wrong it will be.

Why? Simply because EVERY FINAL FANTASY GAME HAS SCI FI ALONGSIDE MEDIEVAL THEMES!!!

And you got understand why they add sci-fi here: the competition, WOW, ESO and GW, are mostly medieval. I understand that FFXIV to be it's own thing needs to differentiate itself from the other while maintaining it's own identity.
But sci-fi has been part of the franchise since the first game. C'mon!
If you were complaining about the true flaws of this game (lack of content, long intervals between patches, housing, companion, glamour lock, and many, so many others...) I'd be by you side, but complaining about sci-fi is waste of keyboard.
