    I thought the solo duties were frustrating...

    ... And they are, but, damn, the level 100 DT dungeons can all go die in a fire.

    I think it's got to the point now where it's just *too* mechanics-focused. I've never got as frustrated with the mechanics of the dungeons from any previous x-pac as I have been with DT. I love the story, characters, quests, and so on for this expansion, but the boss fights are just awful.

    I saw in another thread, somebody said that the each boss fight was a dance, and I think that's a fantastic way to describe them. The issue is, there are people, like myself, who cannot dance, or, cannot dance very well.

    Be it physical or mental health issues, or just not having the time or inclination to spend your entire life mastering every single fight with every single class, there are legitimate reasons to not have the boss fights be so insanely mechanics-heavy.

    I already find it hard to focus on multiple things, but I try, and I have really come to hate the mechanics where the aoe marker flashes on the ground for an instant then you get hit and die, because you literally have no time to move. I need to focus on where I am, where the boss is, where the players are, where any adds etc are, and it's just too much at this point. I simply do not have the ability to keep up.

    You don't understand the game my dude, these markers are and never were an indicator WHEN you have to dodge.

    let me guess, a boss tells you for 5 Seconds :
    "Left Wing Attack",
    but you just stand there, on the left side, like a fool, instead of moving until the AOE flashes... because you don't pay any attention what's happening.

    This kind of mechanic has been a thing since at least Shadowbringers -- actually, since at least Heavensward. Point being, the game has a long history of not always showing you an orange puddle and giving you five seconds to slowly make your way out of it.

    You need to be looking at the boss's cast bar, looking at how the boss is flailing their figurative arms about, and looking towards the edges of the arena. Those are all important sources of information when it comes to learning where an AoE is about to hit.

    The only problems I have with the level 100 fights are the Strayborough first boss adds and the Yuweyawata last boss hole, the former is just a frustration, the latter is an infuriating conflict with the game's movement mechanics.

    I find the newer dungeons to be refreshing because the mechanics feel a little more intense and impactful.

    Regarding the "fast" AoE markers, they always have a separate indicator beforehand. Typically you can tell from the cast bar, but sometimes it's also in the boss' movement - like raising their right arm, indicating an attack on that side. To be blunt, if you're getting hit by these, then you aren't paying close enough attention.

    I'm disabled, I functionally cannot keep up with how frantic and hectic boss fights have become, there's just too much to pay attention to. Probs doesn't help that I can't fgind the option to tone down the graphical effects of combat moves, but, even then, it's too hectic and no longer fun.

    Main menu -> "Character Configuration" -> "Control Settings" on the left -> "Character" tab -> Scroll down to "Battle Effects Settings"

    Combat against enemies, especially bosses, is the main gameplay loop of this game. Just as shooting is for shooter games, or driving in racing games. The game offers duty support / trust NPCs to tackle the dungeon (and some trial) content. There is also the option to just ask for help, this is an mmo after all.

    Mechanics like that have some other indicator to tell you the mechanic is about to happen, such as the boss raising its fist or a cast bar or something. You're not meant to see the orange indicator and move in half a second. If you could elaborate on what bosses and mechanics you're struggling with I'm sure people would be happy to help.
