so I have been slacking on well my beast tribe yet something kinda of bother me as I am only missing 2 to caps in stormblood.

it is rather simple I have the chance to do 12 quest in total yet I always only do 6 because I don't see the point of doing the other that are maxed. So why can't I do 6 in each instead?

I think we should be given the option to do all 12 where we desire because other then maybe housing item that are a somewhat of a grind because of the currency. It could help everyone that seek a style or want to complete the beast tribe I do not know if I am the only one that find it well a bit dum to only be able to do 3 each day's and leave a couple use well to sit unused.

because beast tribes are time gated, this is a major flaw that i think should be fixed. only the current expansion beast tribes should be time gated once a new expansion is out the old ones should have the limit removed as this will only cause problems as new players join it will take them longer and longer to finish all the tribes at this rate

this is just one of the many bad decisions the game devs continue to make which seems small at first glance continues to leave a major impact as time goes on

It doesn't take all that long to get a tribe maxed out. What is it? A month? There's currently 18 allied societies. Likely 20 by the end of DT. You can do 2 tribes/month to max. So that's 10 months of dailies. And the rewards for that last 10 days of each tribe is to get to Bloodsworn - which if you do all societies for that expansion, you get, usually, an emote. If all you cared about were the rewards/story, it would be 20 days per society. That's about 6.5 months.

If I was a new player, I'd start from DT and work backwards.

that's still way to long in my book and with the one in ARR being the most horrible one and that you cannot say otherwise.

And second at this point it is only time consuming and I don't mind my time consumed at all just let me do all 12 in the some tribe if I desire

I do think that the tribes should be called Beast Tribes to begin with, then changed to Tribes after a certain point in the MSQ and then Society for those that aren't tribes, like the Thule dailies.

I've been up to date with Tribal quest for years now, and the only time I did more than 3 a day was when I was leveling my jobs. Xp wise, tribal quest are very profitable, its a lot of xp for less than 10 min. The only annoying ones are the ARR ones, but you can actually do more than 3 a day, since every reputation lvl give you a set of new quest, but don't remove the quest of the previous reputation lvl. You can litterally do 12 of the same tribe. I feel like this is one of the lock that isn't that problematic.

It's not even that long.

from SB and after, it's 26 days if you use the bonus quests and optimize (only completing 2 quest before doing the lvl 6 to 7 quest so the third permit to gain a day on lvl 7 grind and doing 2 set the first day - easy on EU, reset is at 16 or 17 depending of the time of the year), 31 days max if you don't use the bonus. there is currently 10 of that type.

The Vanu Vanu and moogle are longer (37 days without the bonus and optimization), Gnath are 28 days without bonus and optimization.

The ARR ones are 23 days (without bonus quests - ixali take 38 days) if you do only the 3 quest that give the most xp..

Knowing you can do 4 series at the same time, you have

(10*31 + 2*37 +38 + 4*23 + 28) /4 = 135.5 days.

You need 4 month and a half to finish all of the beast tribe quest if you waste your quest count on lower lvl ARR quest. There is probably a little optimization to do on to always be in a situation where you ave 4 beast tribe available per day, or esle it might take a few days more than that, but you probably will finish everything under 5 month.

So getting all from scratch is not that long, and if you're up to date with the old one, you can complete a new one under a month. I don't really see the point of reducing that month to 13 to 16 days
