It's time for instanced housing SE. please read <3

Mao playing WoW now because FFXIV too borings for Mao. When Mao found out that Mao might soon has house in WoW, Mao got super exciteds. Especially since Blizzard planning to set ups two different kinds wards. One is for peoples without guilds and the other is for guilds (Entire ward belongs to guild). Mao wonderings if this means wards is some strange mixture of static like in FFXIV and dynamic like with instanced housing. Mao hopings guild Mao is in will get guild ward. Mao not too sure abouts other bits about WoW house system though. Mao does NOT want to live in Orc mud hut (Mao would prefer cave with big pile treasures to sleeps on)! If WoW house system is good, Mao hopings it will spill overs into FFXIV. Make both games betters.

The reason people want instanced houses is so everyone can get a house.

We can do that while also having neighbourhoods, it's not either/or. There's no reason why we can't do both, and WoW seems to be going that route with its housing system.

I'm confused as to why people are bringing up WoW's announced housing system and acting like we need instanced housing, when what WoW is doing seems far better than that.

I think they will never implement instanced housing just because the players today staying subbed to keep their houses (like me) keep the game afloat among the decreasing population of active players. And they know it. SE knows the house-owning playerbase is guaranteed income so they’d have no incentive to put in place instanced housing. I for sure would unsub freely at times if I knew I wouldn’t lose my house. :/

Pretty much this, they know those of us with premium plots will always be subbed to keep them. I still hope it comes out and transform Island Sanctuary into instance housing when it just needs a few tweaks to add a housing plot.

Mao nots so sure that SE can rely on that. Mao currently has medium house in nice spot in Goblets and Mao is about to walk away from it and let subscription go poof because FFXIV just getting too borings for Mao. Is no make sense to Mao to keep paying for virtual property in game whats not has funs gameplay for Mao.

If they couldn't rely on it it wouldn't be so many complaints these days about players wanting to quit the game but to keep their house. When they are truly done with the game, like you. They won't have a problem relinquishing it. And eventually when I've had my fill of adventures and i decide to move on, I can let my plots go. But some people arnt at that point yet.

I'm sad to see you go but if that's how you truly feel, then I hope SE takes notice to improve the game before it's too late.

are you quitting over the housing system? Do you know anyone who quit the game over them not getting a plot?
