Same here and even with all the flak FFVIII gets, it's still one of my favs too and I love how broken the Junction system can get lol. My OC Rinoa has been in several games for over 20 years now :3

I would love an apartment in Solution Nine, maybe that's where SE could experiment with larger size apartments since the normal housing plots wouldn't fit since S9 is a urban city with skyscrapers.

Currently there isn't a whole lot to say about WoW housing since it's just in the "it's coming" phase with a bunch of promises and expectations thrown on it to drum up conversation. But hopefully, if it's executed really well, it'll get Yoshi-P and the devs a kick to get motivated to really fix/improve FFXIV's housing issues to "keep up" with competitors.

I'm not really expecting that to happen, but it would be a pleasant surprise if it did.

would be neat if if w could have mounts wandering around or parked on house property

have a limit based on size of house or house+fc size so you could designiate "parking spots" for mounts. and those mounts would be unavailable while parked @ the FC

I think they just need to expand apartments. Make the interior bigger and add a balcony/patio area to each one.

Why would you look at WoW's amazing new housing system and then say we need something that's a downgrade from both that and what we have now?

What we really need is to take the improvements WoW is making and integrate them into XIV. More (ideally unlimited) wards, sharing your house between alts, etc
