Give Dawntrail the ARR post patch treatment

There are too many lines that repeat themselves in the MSQ, even voiced ones. A lot of the MSQ quests could do with trimming significantly in terms of go find 3 people, point at robot for the blindingly obvious, listen to how everyone is a sterile clone of each other and echoes each other's opinions.

It's going to go down in history, or already has gone down in history as the expansion people will struggle to advertise to new players to try and grin and bear through, EVEN if hypothetically the next expansion is amazing.

For the sake of helping the game in the long run, I am suggesting to the team to work on trying to cut as much as possible out of this expansion that simply isn't necessary, or repeated dialogue. There is a lot of fat to trim, I don't think anyone, including people who somehow enjoyed this expansion would miss it given how much of it repeats itself or doesn't contribute to the story.

Maybe from less exposure to the characters as a result of a shorter expansion, people would have less of a vitriolic sentiment towards the characters introduced in Dawntrail, thus easing the burden future expansions would have to carry.

If they continue the story like they have, you can scratch the story out. Endwalker and Dawntrails fumbles are very close to soiling the rest like Game of Thrones season 8 did.

It will devolve into an actual FF-themepark and not an MMO, where you can just nostalgia goggle search for names from different FF*s (doesnt feel like an MMO anyway, as half the systems of an MMO are missing)

Endwalker and Dawntrails fumbles are very close to soiling the rest like Game of Thrones season 8 did.

tbh for me it already happened on some level because Wuk tainted all female Hrothgar for me. I absolutely cannot stand to see them in game now and will disregard and have no interest in any NPC that is a femgar to the point I skip all their dialog during quests. Even when I see other players who have a female Hrothgar I will unconciously roll my eyes and even just completely disregard them. I have never had this sort of reaction to an in game race in my nearly 40 years of gaming, outside of Githyanki who are just horribly ugly with that "someone stole my nose" thing they have going on. They worked "so hard" on giving us a new race, only to instantly ruin it. At least when they gave us the males we got Runar and Magnus, who were instantly endearing.

That seems very extreme. I get your point, but hating players for it seems very immature. But whatever rocks your boat hun.
