Kefka deserves an ultimate

Maybe I'm biased when it comes to this since FF6 is my favorite game in the franchise, but I fully believe kefka deserves an ultimate. Think of it, you start the first 3 phases by defeating the warring triad, kefka then drops in and you need to fight him to try to prevent him from absorbing the warring triad and becoming a god but ultros comes in when you're about to defeat him and messes everything up, then you go into the final phase fighting god kefka. You can't tell me that wouldn't be an amazing ultimate. Maybe it's not the most intricate but the fan service would definitely be there.

I was so, so incredibly disappointed when TOP turned out to literally be JUST Omega.
I was really expecting to get Kefka/Exdeath in some form.

Maybe if they focused more on new ideas rather than recycling nostalgia from other games, the current content would be better.

That would be awesome to see made into an ultimate! Though if you wanna add more meat to this ultimate fight, maybe after the initial God Kefka is defeated, you then fight Garland who then in his second phase becomes Chaos. Then Exdeath and his second phase being his void form. Once you defeat both, you're then forced to fight them both at the same time in a third phase.

After you defeat both Chaos and Exdeath, Kefka then makes a surprise return, absorbs both the weakened Chaos and Exdeath and transforms into Chaos Void God Kefka. :3

Unfortunately, I don't think it'll ever happen as they totally skipped it on TOP, and they're likely going to do another ShB Ultimate next

An interesting choice of words when the entire ethos of Ultimates is to literally recycle a fight(s) that already exists in the game and ham it up to 11 for the spectacle, nostalgia of the original fight(s) it drew inspiration from & difficulty.

Like...sure, you have a point if this was about any other kind of content, but this topic is about the exact kind of content where your point is irrelevant because Ultimates are meant to be recycled nostalgia of older fights in this game's lifespan.

The problem with kefka in the modern ultimate environment is that kefka has no lore

The modern ultimates all tell what if?

DSR- what if we saved horsefart?
TOP- what if omega understood dynamis?
FRU- what if mitron fused with Ryne as shiva rather than Gaia as eden promise

I also suggested that ShB story ultimate could be “what if emet selch allowed graha to suck the primordial light out of the WOL?”

But kefka…….kefka has no lore within the 14 world. He is just pulled as a phantasm from 6’s world. That’s is. No more to tell no what if to ask

So blow all the dev resources on another irrelevant piece of content that only 5% of all the players will play/engage with and only 0.5% of that number in a legitimate way? (i.e. not bought on boosting sites and not cleared with screen overlay hacks and the 1-button rotation plugin)

I don't think every Ultimate must tell a story. We can have a good fight that is not tied to lore. Reason I want Kefka and Neo Exdeath is simply because they were fun fights back in the day. I want to see what they can do with them design wise to bring up their difficulty to match todays encounter direction.
