When we run roulette (MSQ included), you are getting rewards greater than what the content would normally reward you for completing it. And the rewards are usually scaled based on the time investment. For example, Castrum can be done fairly quickly while Praetorium cannot. Hence why Castrum gives less experience/poetics than Praetorium does. If people are going to vote to skip CS at the beginning, then the rewards would need to be lowered to offset and bring it back into balance.

His point was that as of today people run MSQ roulette for the big XP and poetics bonus which exist only because of the unskippable cinematics so if you allow skipping those cinematics then rewards will be reduced accordingly meaning you can just delete MSQ roulette because no one will have any reasons to do it.

So either people learn patience, buy a steam deck/switch, have a second monitor, have a book, etc... (i could go on) either you should stop doing MSQ roulette and use the other way that exist to XP jobs or farm poetics.

People should focus on more pressing matters the game has than something that is in fact a non issue if you think more than 5 seconds about it on how to solve the problem by yourself.
